This is a series that gets better and better as you read it. It improves linearly. The thing is, its so long that it becomes the best series ever written. It goes from simple slice of life to epic fantasy but it never loses its roots. I highly recommend this series

Wonderful series that has laborers turning into heroes with their own legends. Really zero to hero kind of series. I think its great and worth reading to the point that it becomes current. Follows 3 to 4 characters in an expansive world. It centers around a small village though that is at the foot of the hill to an ancient evil city.
