Pickwick Review

A well crafted LitRPG series with a somewhat novel premise: It’s just a guy playing a video game. The MC didn't get magically transported to another world or trapped in the video game. The fact that the plot still manages to feel like it has stakes speaks to the quality of the writing.

Many LitRPGs use a fairly generic RPG game as the backdrop for their plot — the game in this series is loaded with interesting races, plot lines, and well imagined fictional locations.

The only issues are some elements like dialogue and combat feel a bit repetitive at times.
