I sacrificed everything for my family. It wasn't enough. I lost my mother, and now I'm about to lose my brother.
I've got only one thing left to gamble: my life. Which is why I'm willing to play Euphoria Online in Death March mode.
If I survive six months in-game against a lethal array of wyverns, ogres, necromancers, and more, I'll earn my brother a pardon.
If I lose?
Well. I'm done with losing.

Colonel James Raytak is about to die. The 93-year-old combat veteran is living his last days in a nursing home and his only hope for survival is an experimental medpod controlled by an artificial intelligence. The artificial intelligence will also control the soon to be released game Limitless Lands. Without its creator’s knowledge, the artificial intelligence decides that the best course of treatment is to import Colonel Raytak’s consciousness directly into the game. Colonel Raytak must dust off his military training and lead his virtual troops in a fight to repair his broken body and mind while exploring the Limitless Lands.
Chase Berrymore dreams of adventure, excitement, and getting the heck out of her pastoral halven village. But when adventure finds her, she'll be scrambling to save her family and friends from a necromancer's wrath. Outmatched in almost every way, she'll have to use her wits, charisma, and a bit of divine favor to figure out the path to victory.Even worse, she'll have to figure out ways to deal with the weird and nigh-immortal beings that call themselves "playas..." And she'll have to do it with the most powerful weapon she has available: words.Violence is not her forte, but cunning, deception, and careful negotiation with unstable and self-centered sociopaths might just win the day, and save herself and her family from this horrible situation which she is absolutely not to blame for in the slightest.
